Loren Bell graduated from the University of Portland in 1990, upon graduation, he entered Willamette Law School and graduated in 1993. While in law school, Loren married fellow Canby High School graduate Jen Eyman. Shortly after getting married, Loren passed the Oregon State Bar exam and went to work for the Salem law firm of Crothers Hansen.

Loren spent the next 10 years with Crothers Hansen earning a partnership (Crothers, Hansen & Bell) in Salem, OR but longed to work in the community where he was raising his children, Konnen and Chloe.

January 2003, Loren dissolved his Salem partnership and moved his law practice to Canby, opening Loren P. Bell, P.C., leasing office space from Roger Reif. At that time, his wife, Jen, also came to work in the office as his assistant.

After 13 years in Roger Reif’s building, Loren and Jen were given an amazing opportunity to purchase the building at 358 NW 1st Ave., in January 2017, Loren P. Bell, P.C. moved to The Bell Building.

Loren’s faith is very important to him and he strives to live his life accordingly. He enjoys his time with his family and friends most of all. He also enjoys Crossfit, riding motorcycles, hiking, camping, golfing, RVing, travel and building things out of wood, steel and anything else.

Loren loves the Canby community.  Loren joined Canby Rotary and Canby Area Chamber of Commerce in 2003 and continues to be an active member of both organizations. He is a currently a member of the Board of Directors of Canby Rotary and a member of the Board of Directors of the Canby Education Foundation, which helps raise funds for our local schools. Loren is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce, where he served as the Chamber President in 2015.

Loren was also elected to the Canby Fire Board in 2003 and served 8 years as a Board Member and held the position of Vice-President.

Loren coached youth football, youth basketball and youth lacrosse. He was a Canby High Lacrosse coach from 2010 through 2013 and was a member of the Canby Lacrosse Board for six years. Loren and his brother, Aaron, even announced the Canby High football games on Friday nights for OCTS, now known as CTV5 while their sons played high school football. He is also very proud to have taken a very active role in and serving on the Canby High School Turf Project. He and other community members helped raise the funds to install a new turf field at Canby High School allowing all of the community to use the field year round. Loren is also a member of the Canby Rod & Gun Club.
